Author Interview: L.M. Heidle

How old were you when you knew you wanted to be a writer?

I really knew I wanted to be a writer when I was around 29. When we were moving I did however find a lot of writings from when I was younger, so maybe it was earlier than I thought.

 

Who are your favorite authors? (Please limit your answer to five or ten.)

Hmm… my favorites would have to be J.M. Sevilla, Tijan, Beth Ehemann, and Tessa Teevan.

 

What are your greatest sources of inspiration?

My children, because I want them to know you should follow your dreams.

 

What genre(s) do you write?

New adult and contemporary romance.

 

Do you have any current or future projects?

Yes I have several projects in the works. I’m working on Unexpected Chances and an untitled book right now. I also have two books planned for the future.

Do you have any other hobbies besides writing?

I love spending time with my family and I’ve recently learned I love DIY projects.

Not sure if this is what you want, but I have a natural orange streak in my hair.

 

Is there anything else you would like to share?

Actually publishing a book is a terrifying thing, but it’s been an amazing experience. It still feels like a dream to have people buy my books.
